My late wife Phyllis (Schick), a native of Waterville herself, and I moved to Waterville in 1985 from Seldovia, Alaska, after retiring from a career as manager of several seafood processing plants.
In Alaska I served on city council, was a Mayor, and lobbied for AMFAC, Inc. for two years. My interest in local government inspired me to run for Mayor of Waterville in 1992, and I am honored to have been elected to serve the fine people of Waterville as their Mayor since that time. I have served on the Park Board, Planning and Zoning Committee, and am currently on the Museum Board.
My late wife, Phyllis, and I have three daughters, a son, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
As your Mayor, I am dedicated to the prosperity, enrichment, safety and community pride of the people who make Waterville a well-maintained and quiet place to live.
