Badger Mountain Ski Hill

Get back to a slower pace of skiing - SKI BADGER!

Badger Mountain Ski Hill was established in 1938 by a group called the "49 Club".  This group searched the entire north face of Badger Mountain looking for a place that would retain snow and be suitable for skiing.  They found the perfect spot!  The hill is situated just right so that you get the sun in the morning and early afternoon then the shade covers the entire hill the rest of the day to protect the snow.

Badger Mountain Ski Club is a non-profit corporation (501C7).  All labor to operate the ski hill is volunteer.

Skiers, snowboarders, cross country skiers, snow-shoeing, sledding and snowmobiles-(off our skiing surfaces) are all welcome.

There are three rope tows used to navigate the hill.

Bunny Tow - A slow, mildly sloped hill for beginner skiers and snow-boarders.

B Hill - From the top of this run, skiers can travel over to the more advanced run.

A Hill - The longest most challenging run.  The top of this run sits at the 3,300 foot elevation.  The top of this hill not only accesses the A-Hill, but also the back trail which opens up to several adventure hills.

The runs are short, but challenging!

Groomed cross-country ski trail - A very challenging course that is well marked with maps and ribbons.  It also makes a lovely snow-shoe trip.

Open terrain - There are miles and miles of open terrain that are great for cross-country skiing, show-shoeing and snowmobiling.

Ski and snowboard lessons are available upon request.  There are no rentals at this time.
